Accordingly, banks have organized many professional training programs and in-depth training to recognize types and signs of fraud in online financial transactions. In particular, focusing on identifying common fraud tricks such as impersonating police officers, bank employees, or financial institutions to request customers to transfer money. Along with that, direct transaction officers are equipped with knowledge about unusual signs in customer behavior such as: panic, rushing to make transactions, or following transaction instructions from unknown phone calls.

In addition, Agribank branches also organize situational drills, simulating fraud scenarios to help tellers improve their professional skills, build a high level of vigilance, and help staff confidently handle real-life situations. In addition, banks also apply modern technology in monitoring transactions, using automatic warning systems to detect unusual transactions. The combination of technology and human skills of Agribank branches has created a solid "shield", helping banks promptly detect and prevent fraud before causing damage to customers.

Along with that, Agribank branches also promote propaganda activities to raise customers' awareness of fraud in cyberspace. Communication programs are deployed through various channels, including social networks, the bank's official website, transaction sessions at commune transaction points and handouts at transaction offices. On the Agribank Plus application, the bank also regularly updates information warning of fraud forms, instructing people to conduct safe transactions on digital banking. At the same time, it recommends that customers do not share account information, passwords, or OTP codes with anyone; instructs how to identify fraudulent calls or messages from subjects. Thereby, helping customers better understand the risks of fraud in cyberspace and also building trust in Agribank's dedication and responsibility in protecting customers' rights.

With synchronous solutions, Agribank branches in the province have successfully prevented many fraud cases. A typical case is the case of Agribank Branch No. 2 - Nam Thanh Hoa, which coordinated with the police of the old An Hung ward, now Dong Quang ward, to promptly prevent a phone fraud of 300 million VND. Specifically, Ms. Le Thi Nguyet in Nam Son street, Dong Quang ward came to the Transaction Office of Branch No. 2 in a state of confusion and fear, constantly answering the phone while making transactions. She requested to withdraw 300 million VND from her savings book to transfer to an account according to the instructions of a person claiming to be an officer of the Ministry of Public Security about Ms. Nguyet's involvement in a drug case. During the exchange, this subject asked Ms. Nguyet not to contact and notify her family, to close the door and not to go out, the subject asked her to go to the bank to withdraw all the money in the savings book and transfer it to the subject with the reason to seal it and return it after verification and clarification.

Noticing the unusual behavior of the customer, teller Le Thi Hue chatted with her to find out more information. Ms. Hue quickly realized that this was a phone money transfer scam and immediately reported it to the branch leadership and coordinated with the ward police to intervene promptly. After the incident, Ms. Nguyet sent a thank you letter, expressing her gratitude for the dedication of teller Le Thi Hue and Agribank Branch No. 2 - Nam Thanh Hoa.
