Proposal to study investment in urban railway connecting Da Nang and Hoi An

The orientation of this component is to build Da Nang into a center in the urban chain of Hue - Da Nang - Chu Lai - Dung Quat - Quy Nhon.

The component also identified that this urban chain has the potential to become a logistics bridge between the Central Highlands provinces and ASEAN countries and China. This will promote trade and investment in the region, while strengthening Vietnam's position on the international logistics map.

The proposed component content studies the linkage of urban chains in the region through 5 key economic sectors including: Linking the tourism sector; linking the industry sector; linking the agriculture sector; linking the transportation and logistics sector; linking the marine economic sector.

Notably, with the solution on developing traffic infrastructure connecting the urban chain, the proposed component invests in building the Da Nang - Thanh My - Ngoc Hoi - Bo Y expressway.

At the same time, research and invest in urban railway routes to connect Da Nang City with Hoi An City (Quang Nam Province) and Lang Co Town (Hue City)...
