White Blouse Music Night to Raise Fund "Plate of Rice on the Wall"

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the evening of June 7, Thanh Hoa Rice Plate on the Wall Club organized a White Blouse music night to raise funds for the “Rice Plate on the Wall” Fund with the theme “Melody from the Heart”. This is the 5th year the music night has been organized, contributing to caring for and helping poor patients have completely free meals of good quality to overcome difficulties in the context of illness and disease.

Originating from the idea of ​​"Coffee on the wall" in Venice (Italy), the program "Plate of rice on the wall" was formed in a number of provinces and cities and started operating in Thanh Hoa from June 6, 2020.

With the message "Each plate of rice, a whole heart", the program has become a bridge between golden hearts, businesses, and philanthropists to share and support free meals for patients in difficult circumstances throughout the province, starting at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital and Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.

Once a year, the Club will organize a music night with the hope that many benefactors will respond and support to have more charity meals, spread the humanitarian meaning of the program, expand activities to bring more meals to poor patients in other hospitals in the province so that patients can rest assured during treatment... Since its establishment, the program has received contributions from benefactors up to 3.5 billion VND; with more than 133 thousand meals given, equivalent to 3.3 billion VND.

The concert with the participation of professional singers, performed completely free of charge. At the end of the concert, all the money donated by benefactors was transferred to the account number and directly supported to the Club, thereby contributing to caring for and helping poor patients have completely free meals.
