(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of July 18, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Di Linh district in coordination with SkillEducation and Training Company Limited held a closing ceremony and awarded graduation certificates for the folk dance and gong performance class for ethnic minority youth in Gung Re commune.

The class took place for nearly 3 months, with the participation of 27 students who are ethnic minority youths from Gung Re commune. Here, the students were taught skills, rhythms, gong performance methods and songs commonly used in festivals, new rice celebrations, welcoming guests, tourism services, in traditional festivals of their ethnic group as well as folk dances of the K'Ho ethnic group by artisans and teachers of Skill Education and Training Company Limited.

Through the class, we aim to contribute to the protection and promotion of the value of the Central Highlands gong cultural space in Gung Re commune in particular and Di Linh district in general. At the same time, we will propagate and raise awareness, protect the good cultural identity of the nation for the young generation, so that the Central Highlands gong cultural space will live forever.

At the closing ceremony of the class, the students skillfully performed popular gong songs and folk dances used in traditional festivals, as well as in the daily life of the K'Ho people. At the end of the course, all students met the requirements and were awarded certificates of completion by SKILL Education and Training Company Limited.
On this occasion, Skill Education and Training Company Limited also coordinated with post-training job consulting units and recruitment units across the province to provide labor market information to students. King Group Beauty Institute presented 28 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to disadvantaged households in Gung Re commune.
