According to the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in the area, Di Linh district will arrange 1 town and 18 communes of Di Linh district into 7 commune-level administrative units, achieving a reduction of 63.16% compared to the current number of commune-level administrative units. Comrade Lam Thi Phuoc Linh - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Di Linh district shared that the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in the area has received high consensus and support from the people. Along with that, the District People's Council has also passed many important related resolutions, demonstrating the consensus and high political determination of the District People's Council in implementing the major policies of the Party and State, aiming to streamline the apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system, and meet the requirements of socio-economic development in the new period.
On the other hand, the People's Committee of Di Linh district has also directed agencies, units and localities to urgently organize the implementation of the resolution that has just been passed; closely coordinate with the departments, branches of the province and relevant localities in the implementation process, ensuring the correct order and procedures according to regulations. At the same time, do a good job of propaganda, creating consensus in the political system and the people about the goals, meanings and importance of the arrangement of administrative units.
Up to now, Di Linh district has basically completed the tasks and works under its authority, ensuring the roadmap for putting new commune-level administrative units into operation. In particular, the leaders of Di Linh district People's Committee have inspected the actual situation, reviewed the facilities and working offices to assess the current status of the facilities for repair and upgrading; determined the location and arrangement of specialized departments, offices, and public administrative offices and will come into operation on July 1, 2025.
In the localities, the working group directly surveyed the headquarters of the merged communes according to the project, inspected the offices, equipment and living conditions of cadres, civil servants and public employees. At the headquarters of the communes, the group also pointed out the shortcomings that need to be overcome, such as the arrangement and determination of the locations of specialized departments, offices, and public administrative offices must be specific, reasonable and scientific ... At the same time, the People's Committee of Di Linh district also requested the leaders of the communes and the Finance - Planning Department, the Office of the People's Council and the People's Committee of the district to urgently review, supplement equipment, renovate rooms and complete the necessary conditions to ensure that the new administrative units operate effectively from the first day of implementation.
In particular, the locality has also had a plan to arrange and assign cadres, civil servants and public employees at the district and commune and town levels; the situation of the organization of cadres and civil servants and the payroll of organizations, agencies and units at the district level; the situation of cadres and civil servants at the commune level; the expected number of Party organizations, Party members; cadres and civil servants in the communes after the administrative unit arrangement; the plan to arrange the organization of the apparatus, cadres, civil servants and public employees at the commune level in 7 new administrative units; the work of handling finance, public assets, debts and handling of unfinished investment projects being implemented by the district and communes and towns; the settlement of backlogged and prolonged projects in the district; the work of digitizing documents, editing and handing over records and documents of the district and communes and towns when the organization of district-level administrative units and the arrangement of commune-level administrative units are completed...
During the implementation process, the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and the mass organizations at all levels in the district also regularly directed and coordinated to do a good job of information and propaganda work so that cadres and people clearly understood the policies and plans for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of the Central and the province. The implementation of the process and procedures for soliciting people's opinions and organizing conferences of the Party Committees and the government at all levels on the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units were carried out fully, closely, on schedule according to the plan, and the people agreed with a high rate.
With a high sense of responsibility and synchronous coordination between all levels and sectors, we believe that by July 1, the new communes in Di Linh district will officially operate stably and effectively, meeting the requirements in the current period of administrative reform.
