Lam Dong deploys gift giving to people on the occasion of 80th National Day

From today (August 31), communes and wards of Lam Dong province have begun giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, communes and wards have issued detailed notices on the gift giving program for all people. Communes and wards have specifically announced the locations and participants in supporting the payment of gifts to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

The recipients of this gift are Vietnamese citizens and people of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined but have been granted an identity card and are residing in communes and wards in Lam Dong province. Citizen information has been collected, updated, and assigned personal identification numbers in the National Population Database, established until August 30, 2025.

Each citizen will receive 100,000 VND on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. There are 2 ways to receive gifts: through a bank account (for citizens who have opened an account) and in cash (for the remaining cases).

Currently, most communes and wards in Lam Dong province have completed the procedures for withdrawing cash at banks and treasuries and held meetings to assign tasks for gift giving to people. Most communes and wards will implement the program simultaneously tomorrow morning (September 1). Only a few communes and wards have started paying today (August 31).

Previously, on August 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a document directing the implementation of gift giving to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (1945 - 2025) and National Day September 2, in accordance with Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister .

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance, Provincial Police, State Bank Branch Region 10 and related units to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security , Ministry of Finance and State Bank of Vietnam to organize the delivery of gifts to people promptly, safely and on schedule.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, together with Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, were assigned the task of promoting information and propaganda work on this meaningful policy, contributing to creating an exciting and united atmosphere among the people, towards the country's great anniversary.

The People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones in the province are responsible for directing affiliated agencies and units to organize the implementation and dissemination of policies to the people in a timely and effective manner.

Lam Dong Newspaper , Radio and Television will continue to update information about the gift giving program for people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 in localities in the province.
