Attending the program were comrades: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man. Also attending were comrades Politburo members: Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Secretariat; Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense .
Also attending the program were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, ministries, departments and central branches; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, along with numerous artists and tens of thousands of spectators, creating a solemn and spirited atmosphere.

With the participation of nearly 3,000 artists, actors and the public, the event became an artistic epic, fully depicting the 80-year journey of building and developing the country.
The program is elaborately staged, including three chapters with tight content, recreating the journey from the struggle for independence to the process of innovation and integration.



In the first chapter “The Road to Independence and Reunification”, the audience listened to the symphony “My Fatherland” resounding among the crowd, thousands of dancers opened up a touching scene. The performances “Long Night of Slavery”, “Declaration of Independence”, “The Country Full of Joy” recreated historical moments from September 2, 1945 to the day of North-South reunification.
Chapter two, “Aspiration for the Fatherland,” brings a modern touch, with “Em di giu bien vang”, “Aspiration for Youth” and “Welcome to Vietnam”. The stage explodes with youthful melodies combined with LED screens, dance and lighting effects, portraying the image of a Vietnam integrating and reaching international standards.
Chapter three “My Fatherland, Never So Beautiful”, opens with “The Power of Unity - Joining Hands”, connecting the three regions in the desire for unity. The report summarizing 80 years of achievements takes the audience back to the great strides in all fields. The climax is “Marching Song” sung by the children’s choir, orchestra and mass forces, before closing with “Love the Smile of Vietnam”, spreading faith and hope.
In particular, the program brings together famous artists: People's Artist Thanh Lam, My Tam, Tung Duong, Den Vau, Soobin Hoang Son, Mono, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, and many young singers. Music, dance, fine arts and modern stage technology such as 3D mapping, multi-layered surround sound, super-sharp LED screens, artistic fireworks... have blended together, bringing a visual experience and intense emotions.
The program is not only a re-enactment of a heroic historical journey, but also conveys the aspiration for a new era, a happy and prosperous Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
At the end of more than 180 minutes of art, the audience left My Dinh Stadium with pride and emotion. The program was not only a tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs, but also fostered faith and aspiration to contribute, to continue the journey of prosperity and happiness for the Fatherland.
