At the ASEAN-China Bazar 2025 held in Venezuela, Vietnamese cuisine conquered local diners, while spreading the image of Vietnam's land and people to international friends.

Bread, spring rolls and coffee - typical dishes associated with Vietnamese culinary culture - attracted a large number of visitors at the ASEAN - China Bazar 2025, which took place on November 1 at Francisco Miranda Park, Caracas (Venezuela).

With its rich and sophisticated flavors, Vietnamese cuisine not only conquers local diners but also contributes to spreading the image of the country and friendly, hospitable Vietnamese people to international friends.

According to a VNA correspondent in Latin America, the fair was jointly organized by the diplomatic missions of ASEAN countries and the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela, aiming to promote the country's image, promote cultural exchanges and strengthen friendly relations with Venezuela. The event attracted the participation of representatives of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, many ministries, sectors, socio- political organizations, businesses, along with a large number of people in the capital Caracas and international diplomatic corps.

In his opening speech, Indonesian Ambassador Fikry Cassidy, rotating Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Caracas (ACC), emphasized that ASEAN is a region with the world's leading diverse, rich and unique culture.

He affirmed that the spirit of solidarity and consensus is the internal strength of ASEAN, and said that the fair is a meaningful opportunity to promote understanding and cultural ties between ASEAN countries, China and Venezuela.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My said the event is an opportunity to promote Vietnamese cultural and culinary values, contributing to strengthening cultural diplomacy, promoting international cooperation and tightening friendship between ASEAN countries, China and Venezuela.

At the exhibition area, the Vietnamese booth made a strong impression with its space imbued with national identity, introducing ao dai, conical hats, handicraft products and traditional dishes.

The flavors of Vietnamese bread, spring rolls and coffee have become prominent highlights, demonstrating the strong influence of Vietnamese culture in the Latin American region and affirming Vietnam's active role in international cultural exchange.

Many visitors expressed their love for Vietnamese food. Ms. Maria Fernanda, a resident of Caracas, shared: “I have heard a lot about Vietnamese bread. When enjoying it at the fair, I especially liked the harmonious combination of hot, crispy bread, fresh vegetables and rich sauce.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Guillermo Torres, a local businessman, commented: “Vietnamese cuisine is delicate and balanced. The spring rolls are delicious, the ingredients are fresh and the flavors are light but deep.”

Japanese Ambassador to Venezuela Yasushi Sato also expressed his impression of the unique taste of Vietnamese bread and coffee, and highly appreciated Vietnam's efforts to promote culture at the event./.
