Using drones to deliver goods to isolated residential areas
On November 2, the 270th Engineer Brigade coordinated with the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My to transport more than 7 tons of relief goods, including food, drinking water and essential necessities, to people in Tra Tan commune, where many areas are still isolated due to heavy rain and landslides.
Due to the rugged terrain, many places cannot be reached by motor vehicles, the authorities have flexibly used drones to deliver goods to isolated residential areas, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles. Despite the heavy rain, the officers and soldiers still uphold their sense of responsibility, making efforts to overcome difficulties to promptly share and help people stabilize their lives soon.

The authorities have approached and provided emergency support to two isolated villages (Ateép and Dang). Previously, a landslide occurred in Ateép causing a large amount of rock, soil, and mud to flow down from the mountain, burying the entire residential area.
Also today, in A Vuong commune, authorities approached and provided emergency support to Ateep and Dang villages, which are isolated due to landslides on the Ho Chi Minh road and rural routes.
People were given rice, instant noodles, dried fish, blankets, warm clothes and necessities, enough for about two weeks.
Mr. Briu Quan, Chairman of the People's Committee of A Vuong commune, said that heavy rains for many days caused landslides, causing a large amount of rock, soil, and mud to flow down from the mountain, covering the entire residential area, damaging houses and property of people in Ateép village.
"However, thanks to proactive early identification of risks and close coordination between officials and people, evacuation work was carried out promptly, causing no human casualties in Ateêp village," Mr. Briu Quan shared.
