
Ceremony to overcome the consequences of storms, floods and landslides
Responding to the call, more than 2,000 people, including officers, soldiers and residents from 22 villages in the commune, simultaneously participated in cleaning up and overcoming landslides on roads, bridges and roads leading to ginseng growing areas. People used hoes and shovels to dig up soil and rocks, opening paths through severed and landslide-prone areas.

Faced with that situation, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung directly went to Ngoc Linh commune to inspect and direct urgent measures to overcome landslides, soon open traffic routes, ensure students' learning, and at the same time count the damage to support people in restoring production.
Implementing this directive, the Ngoc Linh commune government has mobilized the entire population to join in overcoming the landslide, and has received support from hundreds of officers and soldiers from military units stationed in the area. With a spirit of solidarity and high determination, local forces and the military are urgently leveling rocks and soil, reopening roads, helping people stabilize their lives and return to production.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, said that the unit is deploying the third charity truck to carry 5 tons of necessities including rice, instant noodles, milk, water, candy, clothes, blankets, medicine, medical bandages, sausages and canned food to supply to the people of Ngoc Linh commune. Thus, the total amount of relief goods sent by the Department of Industry and Trade to the locality has reached more than 12.5 tons.
