Dong Nai supports 41 billion VND to help 4 northern provinces overcome the consequences of storms and floods

(Chinhphu.vn) - Today, November 3, the working delegation of Dong Nai province led by Mr. Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, visited and presented gifts to support the provinces of Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, and Thai Nguyen with 41 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province presented 10 billion VND to support Phu Tho province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Support Phu Tho province 12 billion VND

In Phu Tho, comrade Vu Hong Van shared the difficulties and losses that the locality had to endure due to storms and floods, and expressed his wish that Phu Tho would soon restore production and stabilize people's lives.

On this occasion, Dong Nai province donated 10 billion VND to support flood and storm recovery efforts and 2 billion VND to support families of provincial police officers affected by natural disasters.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho, comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, expressed his gratitude for the act of kindness of Dong Nai province, affirming that this is an action that deeply demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love" of the Vietnamese people.

Lao Cai received 7 billion VND in support

Working in Lao Cai, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van said that after nearly 1 month of launching, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province has received more than 84 billion VND in contributions from organizations and individuals to support people in 10 provinces that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 10.

Of which, Dong Nai awarded 7 billion VND to Lao Cai province, including 1 billion VND to support officers and soldiers of the provincial police.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai Province Trinh Viet Hung thanked the officials and people of Dong Nai for their sympathy and sharing; said that the circulation of storm No. 10 had caused more than 2,750 billion VND in damage, but with the drastic participation of the entire political system, the recovery work is being actively implemented.

Dong Nai gives 11 billion VND to Thai Nguyen

On the same afternoon, the working delegation visited and presented 11 billion VND to support Thai Nguyen province in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, of which 1 billion VND was for affected officers and soldiers of the provincial police.

Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong expressed his appreciation for the timely attention and support from Dong Nai province; said that due to the circulation of storm No. 11, Thai Nguyen suffered an estimated loss of more than 12 trillion VND, but thanks to the help of the Central Government and localities, people's lives are gradually stabilizing and production is recovering.

Comrade Vu Hong Van, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province presented a symbol of support of 10 billion VND to Tuyen Quang province.

Tuyen Quang was supported with 11 billion VND and learning equipment.

In Tuyen Quang, the Dong Nai province delegation presented 10 billion VND to support flood and storm damage recovery, 1 billion VND to families of affected provincial police officers and soldiers, and 55 sets of computers to schools in the area.

Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh respectfully thanked Dong Nai province for its kindness and sharing, affirming that this support has practical significance, contributing to helping Tuyen Quang soon stabilize life and restore production after natural disasters.

In total, Dong Nai province has donated 41 billion VND along with many equipment and gifts to support four northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, cohesion and deep social responsibility among localities across the country.
