Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh inspected the progress of projects in Phan Thiet.

On the morning of November 4, Comrade Nguyen Minh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee inspected the actual construction progress of the Song Ca Ty Apartment Project and 2 projects to build new, repair and renovate some items at Phan Boi Chau High School and Phan Chu Trinh High School (Phan Thiet).

Also participating in the delegation were leaders of relevant departments and branches, Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, Branch of Land Fund Development Center No. 1 and Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee.

The Ca Ty River Apartment Project is invested by the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, with a total capital of nearly 800 billion VND from the provincial budget. The project serves the resettlement of households relocated to implement the Ca Ty River Embankment Project and other urban beautification projects.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh listened to the contractor report on project progress.

The project consists of 6 8-storey apartment blocks, total floor area of ​​70,686 m², with more than 760 apartments from 1-3 bedrooms. In addition, the project also invests in some auxiliary components such as: flower gardens, parks, roads and related technical infrastructure systems.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh encouraged workers at the construction site.

According to the report of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, up to now, the unit has coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Ward and Branch of the Land Fund Development Center No. 1 to complete the construction progress table (Gantt diagram) and send it to the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, requesting contractors to build detailed weekly plans, mobilizing maximum human resources and machinery to ensure the project's progress.

The construction site is striving to ensure progress meets the province's instructions.

The capital plan for the project in 2025 is 162,211 billion VND, by October 31, 92.57 billion VND (57%) has been disbursed; it is expected to reach 98% by the end of the year, and by January 31, 2026, 100% of the capital plan will be completed.

Construction efforts

At the inspection, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh acknowledged the efforts of the construction unit in speeding up the progress, and at the same time requested departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely, promote the sense of responsibility, focus on removing difficulties to speed up the project's progress and soon bring the project to the finish line.

The construction unit needs to increase human resources, equipment, and continuously construct, contributing to ensuring the progress of disbursement of public investment capital according to the plan. The contractor encourages the team of engineers and workers on the construction site to continue to make efforts and work overtime to bring the project to the finish line on the approved schedule.

The project started on July 30, 2025, is expected to be completed on December 31, 2025, and currently has a disbursement rate of 55% with more than 19.29 billion VND.

At Phan Chu Trinh High School, the project to repair and renovate a number of items, including the Multi-purpose Hall, fence, and school yard, is being implemented. The Multi-purpose Hall item, with its complex design, is currently 60% complete.

After the inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the sense of responsibility of the construction units. At the same time, he reminded the investor and the School Board to strengthen supervision and promptly give comments on issues related to the use of functions to ensure the effectiveness of the project after completion, serving well the needs of teaching and learning.
