Landslide buries 6 houses, 1 person injured

On November 2, the People's Committee of Phuoc Thanh Commune (Da Nang City) informed that a landslide had just occurred in the area, burying 6 houses and injuring 1 person.

According to initial information, at about 2:00 p.m. the same day, in village 4, Phuoc Thanh commune ( Da Nang city), a serious landslide occurred, burying 6 houses and one resident.

Immediately after receiving the news, Phuoc Thanh Commune Police urgently coordinated with the Commune Civil Defense Command to mobilize forces and vehicles to the scene to organize rescue in heavy rain and continued landslides from the hill.

At about 3:30 p.m., the forces rescued the victim safely and took him to the Commune Health Center for emergency treatment. Fortunately, the victim only suffered minor injuries.

Next, the Commune Police took the lead in mobilizing and supporting the urgent evacuation of 20 households with 60 people out of the danger zone. At the same time, they stretched ropes, put up warning signs, and arranged for forces to stand guard, not allowing people to return to the landslide area.
