Do Truong An, a freelance photographer with three years of experience, shared that this year's graduation photo season is at its peak. For him, photography is not only a passion but has become his main job, providing a stable income.
"This season, my schedule is almost full, constantly switching between graduation photoshoots and wedding/engagement photoshoots. On average, I get about 2-3 graduation photoshoot classes per week," said An.
Regarding costs, Mr. An said that the prices are flexible depending on the number of members and the requirements of each class. "Typically, the price ranges from 350,000 to 1,500,000 VND per student. Whether the class is large or small, and whether there are special concept requirements, all affect the final price," Mr. An explained.
Nevertheless, he always tries to keep prices affordable to suit students' budgets. Mr. An also frankly shared his thoughts on the competition in this year's graduation photo market. According to him, the level of competition is much more intense than in previous years.
"Each photographer has their own style. Most young photographers today focus on marketing, frequently posting humorous behind-the-scenes videos (BTS) and incorporating AI voiceovers to attract students. This is part of the 'race' during graduation season," An observed.

Similar to Mr. An, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, who works at a studio in the province, said that this is the busiest time of year for graduation photo services.
According to Mr. Tuan, the number of customers booking graduation photoshoots this year has increased sharply. "The number of customers has almost doubled. From around the beginning of April, students started booking very early to have their photos taken before exams, graduation ceremonies, and farewells at the end of their school year," Mr. Tuan said.
To meet the increased demand, the studio also prepared well in advance. Anh Tuan said: “We proactively prepared a full range of costumes, accessories, and clothing in various styles. Regarding staff, the team arranged for shifts to ensure we could serve classes from early morning to late evening while maintaining quality.”

Beyond simply meeting the quantity requirement, this year the studio is also investing in creativity in each photo set. Anh Tuan emphasized that the yearbook service now differs significantly from previous years.
“Depending on the class schedule and weather, there are weeks when the studio has to work continuously to meet deadlines. Yearbooks are no longer simply about taking souvenir photos. The team is always updating with new trends, building ‘youthful’ concepts, capturing the playful and natural moments of the students. We strive to make each photo set tell its own story and evoke unique emotions, avoiding clichés or artificiality,” Tuan added.

The bustling yearbook photo market also reflects the growing demand for preserving precious moments of school life. Each photo album is not only the product of a vibrant season but also a repository of laughter, friendship, and beautiful memories that will accompany students on their journey to adulthood and throughout their lives.
