Bitcoin price hits new high

Last week, the world's largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin broke all previous records, reaching $124,002.49. The heat was not only focused on Bitcoin. Ethereum (ETH), the second largest coin, was not far behind, soaring to $4,780.04, its highest price since late 2021.

This simultaneous explosion has pushed the total capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market past the $4,180 billion mark, a huge number compared to the $2,500 billion level at the time of President Trump's election in November 2024.

The rise of cryptocurrencies coincided with the growth of the US stock market. This synchronization shows that optimism and risk-on sentiment are spreading strongly in the digital asset market.

Cheap MacBook price revealed

Apple is developing a low-cost MacBook model, expected to start at $599, to compete directly with Chromebook devices. This information was revealed by MacRumors , showing a new move by "Apple" in expanding market share.

The low-cost MacBook is said to have a similar design to the current MacBook Air (Photo: 9to5mac).

Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that this MacBook model will be equipped with an A18 Pro processor, instead of the M series chip commonly found on current Mac products. The A18 Pro chip is the processor currently used on the iPhone 16 Pro line.

This low-cost MacBook model is expected to go into mass production in late Q4/2025 or early Q1/2026. The product will offer many color options, including silver, rose gold and gold.

Tablets with anti-glare screens

The 2025 MatePad Pro 12.2 inch features PaperMatte Display technology, providing a paper-like reading and writing experience. The device has a built-in keyboard and stylus, providing a learning and working experience similar to using a 2-in-1 computer.

This tablet model also supports the PC-standard WPS Office 2.0 office application suite, allowing users to create, edit or print documents, spreadsheets or presentations, similar to when performing on a computer.

Vietnam rises in regional 5G race

According to the latest data from Speedtest Global Index , in the ASEAN region, Vietnam has risen from 4th to 3rd in terms of mobile speed.

Accordingly, Singapore's mobile speed is about 163.29 Mbps; Malaysia: about 163.00 Mbps and Vietnam: about 146.64 Mbps. Countries like Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines all have lower speeds than Vietnam.

The total number of 5G subscribers of network operators has reached tens of millions (Photo: Trung Nam).

Viettel has completed more than 7,000 5G BTS stations, covering 100% of the capitals of 34 provinces/cities, aiming to cover 5G to 99% of the population by 2030, with more than 20,000 BTS stations by the end of 2025.

VNPT and MobiFone did not disclose the number of BTS stations installed. However, VNPT announced that Vinaphone's 5G waves have covered the whole country. MobiFone also joined the game since the end of March. The total number of 5G subscribers of the network operators has reached tens of millions.

iPhone 17 will be available soon in Vietnam

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, a representative of an Apple Authorized Reseller said that Vietnam is on the list of countries that will sell iPhone 17 in the first batch, along with other major markets such as the US, Singapore, Thailand, etc.

Previously, some sources revealed that Apple will hold an event to introduce the iPhone 17 generation on September 9. On September 12, the company will start accepting pre-orders.

It is expected that the first iPhone 17s will be delivered to users on September 19. Thus, the iPhone 17 product line will probably officially hit shelves in Vietnam on September 19.
