Directly examining, consulting on treatment and health care for people in flood-affected areas, comrade Giang A Nhia, an emergency resuscitation specialist at Dien Bien Dong Medical Center, Dien Bien province, said: Due to the effects of prolonged rain and floods, in some places the water source is polluted, so many people here have respiratory diseases and skin diseases. Elderly people often have digestive and bone and joint diseases. Therefore, along with medical examination, people are also given free medicine and doctors advise on treatment, care and protection of the body during the changing seasons.
