Dien Bien: Improving the capacity of cadres in charge of the Military Command of districts, towns and cities

Within the framework of the contest, the contestants competed in two parts: general theory and practice.

The general theoretical exam content includes: Party Committee Conference approving the determination to fight defensively; awareness of Party work, political work; military work, logistics, finance and technical work. The practical exam includes: Building the determination to fight defensively, drafting resolutions; shooting K54 gun lesson 1 and lesson 1b; individual team command without guns.

Both parts of the exam require candidates to research, understand and apply the system of documents at all levels to organize and carry out military and defense tasks; the ability to coordinate in map building, and the determination to defend operations of the Military Command of districts, towns and cities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Ngo Quang Tuan, Commander of the Dien Bien Provincial Military Command, highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the contestants and the sense of responsibility and impartiality of the judges. The contest aims to evaluate the qualifications, capacity and thinking of the team of commanders, political commissars, deputy commanders and chiefs of staff and deputy political commissars of the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities in performing military and defense tasks, while improving the quality of advice for local Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the implementation of defense and security tasks in the following years, meeting the requirements of the task of building the army in the new situation.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 12 first, second and third prizes to contestants with excellent achievements in the competition.
