Dien Bien receives donations to the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, and the delegation offered incense at the Memorial Temple for Martyrs of the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield.

Working with the delegation, on the Dien Bien province side were: Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Lo Van Phuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of provincial departments and agencies.

At the event, the leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province presented a donation of 100 million VND to the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). This is a source of encouragement and contributes to creating resources for the Dien Bien Phu Provincial "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund's Steering Committee to better care for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, war invalids, etc.

Leaders of Hai Duong and Dien Bien provinces witnessed the ceremony of donating funds to the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, provided information on some highlights of the province's socio -economic development, the care for families of policy beneficiaries, those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, and war invalids in Hai Duong province. He expressed his joy at visiting Dien Bien province, especially on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Through this visit, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that the two provinces and their departments, agencies, and organizations would unite, cooperate, and share experiences in all activities of their respective agencies.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, respectfully expressed his gratitude for the affection and assistance of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Dien Bien Province will mobilize all resources and continue to focus on social welfare, showing gratitude, and caring for the lives of policy beneficiary families, those who have contributed to the revolution, and war invalids. The Provincial Party Secretary also hoped that in the future, Hai Duong Province would continue to pay attention to and support Dien Bien Province, especially in the training of high-quality labor resources, contributing to creating momentum for development.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, presented a commemorative gift to Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.

Following that, the delegation from Hai Duong province and the leaders of Dien Bien province visited and offered incense and flowers to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Memorial Temple.
