SILAA is the first Indian film to choose the natural wonders of Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Tu Lan, Tien Cave, Tan Hoa and other prominent tourist destinations in central Vietnam as the main setting.
The film is a romantic action film, produced by famous producer Rahul Bali, directed by Omung Kumar, who is known for many outstanding films of Indian cinema.
Taking on the lead roles in the film are two famous actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb, familiar faces to Bollywood cinema lovers.
According to the schedule, the film crew will film in majestic caves in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang heritage area and some unique, pristine destinations in Quang Tri.
These settings are expected to bring impressive visual effects, contributing to depicting the enchanting beauty of Vietnamese nature on the international big screen.
“We believe that the film not only delivers a compelling cinematic story but is also a great way to introduce Vietnam, a country with majestic nature and friendly people, to global audiences,” said Mr. Rahul Bali.
The SILAA project is expected to reach hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide , opening up opportunities to promote Vietnamese tourism, especially the North Central region, to the Indian market, where the film industry is strongly developed and the number of international tourists has increased rapidly in recent years.
Choosing to film in Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Tu Lan and Quang Tri destinations shows the attractiveness of Vietnam as an international-scale natural film studio, ready to welcome major film projects in the region and the world.
