Attending were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Deputy Heads of the Central Organization Commission; and representatives of relevant agencies.

Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision to transfer, assign and appoint to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee. The Politburo decided that comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, will cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and transfer, assign and appoint to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

Presenting the decision and congratulating comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam was born in 1974, is a cadre with very basic training, matured from the grassroots and has worked in many positions in Tay Ninh province. The Politburo's decision to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee is the Politburo's recognition and appreciation of the comrade personally, as well as the recognition and appreciation of the results that the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee has achieved since the beginning of the term. The comrade has made important contributions to socio-economic development, security, national defense, and Party building and organization in Tay Ninh province...

From now until the 14th National Congress of the Party, the workload is very large, requiring both quality and time progress, continuity, many new requirements and tasks for the Central Organizing Committee, comrade Le Minh Hung hopes that comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam will quickly grasp the work, especially the work of the Central Organizing Committee related to continuing to reorganize the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ/TW, especially Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on summarizing Resolution 18-NQ/TW; Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW on a number of contents and tasks to continue to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025, which will be implemented in the coming time. Along with that, the Central Organizing Committee will coordinate and direct according to its authority the preparation work for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party; In 2025, 37 projects and tasks will be implemented and submitted to the Politburo and Secretariat...

Highlighting the key tasks of the Central Organizing Committee in the coming time, comrade Le Minh Hung expressed his belief that comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, with his experience from the grassroots, will unite with the Central Organizing Committee and strive at the highest level to complete with quality, efficiency and on schedule the work contents and tasks that the Central Organizing Committee has been entrusted with by the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee.

The new Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Nguyen Thanh Tam, expressed his sincere thanks to the Politburo for trusting him with the new task. He emphasized that taking on the task at the Central Organizing Committee is a great honor and responsibility to the Party and the Party Organization and Building sector. As a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots, he will strive to do his best, promote the sense of responsibility and solidarity with the leadership of the Committee and relevant agencies to strive to best fulfill political tasks, especially important tasks in preparation for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, as well as the work of continuing to reorganize the apparatus in the current political system.
