Speaking to ETtoday, Nancy Lee, Coco Lee's older sister, revealed that the singer had suffered from severe depression for many years. On July 2nd, she attempted suicide at her home and was rushed to the hospital by family members. After five days in a coma, despite intensive treatment, Coco Lee did not survive.
"I am honored to have such an outstanding younger sister like Coco Lee. I am grateful that God has given my family such a wonderful angel like her. I hope she is living happily wherever she is, free from the torment of depression," Nancy Lee shared.
