According to HK01 , Hui Siu-hung was reportedly hospitalized on October 27th in critical condition. Hong Kong media revealed that a number of close friends of the 80-year-old actor, including the couple Miao Kiu-wai and Chik Mei-chan, actors Ouyang Zhenhua, Huang Zongze, Lin Feng, Wu Zhuoxi, producer Wen Weihong, and Lin Zhihua, rushed to the hospital, their faces showing clear signs of tension and worry. Some stayed for several hours before leaving.
HK01 published a series of photos of Raymond Lam and Wu Zhuoxi arriving at the hospital around 6:50 PM on October 27th. They stayed for about half an hour before leaving. When asked by reporters if Hui Siu-hung had regained consciousness, Wu Zhuoxi shook his head, expressing, "May good deeds be rewarded."
