On April 12, the People's Committee of Do Son district informed the press about the tourism festival with many new tourism products, aiming to create a four-season destination to attract tourists, including the experience of rowing a boat in the mangrove forest.
Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan - Vice Chairman of Do Son District People's Committee - said that this year the district has many new tourism activities and products and strives to complete the goal of welcoming 3.8 million visitors.
Accordingly, the district will offer many services such as: sea and island eco-tourism; cultural - spiritual tourism, festivals, sports ; conference - seminar tourism, resorts...
In addition to the cultural activities on the sidelines, Do Son tourism this year also has an artistic kite flying festival with 50 large kites (about 10 to 30m); street art performances at the walking street in Do Son area 2; rowing in the mangrove forest promises visitors the first experience of river tourism in the North; Dragon Hill culinary festival...
Besides sea tourism , tourists can visit famous attractions such as: the red banyan tree complex dating back over 500 years, buffalo fighting festival, K15 wharf - the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh trail at sea, Hang pagoda - the first place where Buddhism was introduced to Vietnam by sea...
Regarding accommodation facilities, Do Son district also put into operation two 5-star hotels including the international standard Dream Dragon Resort and the Nam Cuong Do Son international resort and hotel.
The area for tourists to have fun also includes Thuy Tinh water park, Anh park in Doi Rong area; Vung Huong beach, kayaking, forest crossing experience... The highlight of this year's tourism festival is the art program with the theme "Do Son - 4-season destination" taking place on the evening of April 30 at the sea square in Doi Rong international tourist area.

The art kite performance festival took place on April 30, at Vung Huong tourist beach, also part of the Dragon Hill international tourist area, with about 40 - 50 art kites.
In addition, the open tourism golf tournament held at Dragon Hill Golf Course on May 4 is expected to attract 120 golfers and the Dragon Hill culinary festival will take place from April 27 to May 1 with about 150 food stalls, displays and free tasting counters.
