Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation - JSC (HoSE: KBC), chaired by Mr. Dang Thanh Tam, has just announced that Hung Yen Investment and Development Group JSC (HYG) - a subsidiary of which KBC owns 95% - contributed capital to establish Trump International Vietnam JSC.
Accordingly, Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company contributed 99% of the charter capital to establish Trump International Vietnam Joint Stock Company. This led to Trump International Vietnam Joint Stock Company being identified as a company controlled by KBC with an indirect ownership ratio of 95.32%.
Trump International Vietnam was established on July 9, headquartered in Hung Yen, with its main business being real estate.
On May 21, Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company started construction of the Khoai Chau urban, eco -tourism and golf course complex (Trump International Hung Yen project) with a total investment of 1.5 billion USD, in cooperation with The Trump Organization - a corporation related to the family of US President Donald Trump.
The Trump International Hung Yen project has a scale of 1,000 hectares, positioned as the most luxurious golf course in Vietnam, with a 5++ resort and high-class amenities. This is a project that attracts the attention of investors. The project partly shows the attractiveness of Vietnam to international investors. This is the first Trump-branded project in Vietnam.
To carry out the billion-dollar Trump brand project, KBC recently decided to raise the full 6,000 billion VND, continuing to offer 147.1 million "unsold" shares from the previous private issuance.
