On February 6, in Thach An district, a working delegation from the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases led by Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach, Director of the hospital, came to work with the District Party Committee, District People's Committee and Department of Health to support medical examination and treatment.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and resolved difficulties in medical examination and treatment, comprehensively assessed human resources, facilities, equipment and the situation of infectious diseases in the district; difficulties in implementing new techniques applied to medical examination and treatment; hoped that the hospital would support training and fostering of professional techniques such as endoscopic surgery, endoscopic treatment of cirrhosis, dialysis; organize training courses on resuscitation, infectious diseases, pediatrics, endoscopy, microbiology techniques, etc.

Sharing the difficulties of the Cao Bang province's medical sector, in the coming time, the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases commits to always accompany and support the Thach An District Medical Center as well as the province's medical sector through two-way referral activities, training and technology transfer, infectious disease management, performing tests and functional examinations such as CT scans, MRI scans, implementing remote medical examination and treatment, supporting the transfer of test samples to the hospital, and coordinating research and providing high-quality medical examination and treatment services.
