Before the heroic martyrs, the Government delegation respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, and respectfully expressed gratitude and remembrance to General Vo Nguyen Giap and the cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers; the army and people who fought bravely and sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu victory. In a solemn atmosphere, the Government delegation respectfully hoped that the heroic martyrs would bless the nation with peace and prosperity, the country of Vietnam to last forever and be prosperous; the Vietnamese people to always be peaceful and happy; and to successfully carry out the cause of national renewal.

On the same afternoon, the Government delegation also laid wreaths and offered incense at the A1 Martyrs Cemetery, commemorating the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who heroically fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, independence and freedom for the Fatherland, for socialism, for the happiness of the people...
