Comrade Duong Dinh Duc - Secretary of Tan Uyen District Party Committee reported the results of the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tan Uyen district.

At the meeting, leaders of Tam Duong, Tan Uyen and Than Uyen districts reported on the results of the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the three districts. In the past time, with the participation and support of the Provincial Steering Committee, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, armed forces, businesses, philanthropists and all people of the three districts have actively participated in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area; established a Steering Committee, assigned members to be in charge of the area, directly the District Party Secretary and Commune Party Secretary as heads of the Steering Committee; The Steering Committees of the districts have promptly reviewed, assessed and determined the needs in the area according to the direction of the province; carried out propaganda work well to create unity of awareness and high consensus in the entire political system and all classes of people to clearly understand the meaning and objectives of the program.

The total demand of the 3 districts for the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses is 1,337 houses (Tam Duong district: 627 houses; Tan Uyen district: 472 houses; Than Uyen district: 238 houses). The number of houses completed and under construction is 1,265, reaching 94.61%, specifically: Tam Duong district has completed 610 houses, of which: the number of houses completed is 293 (206 newly built; 87 repaired); the number of houses under construction is 317 (281 newly built; 36 repaired). Tan Uyen district has completed 418 houses, of which 195 have been completed (146 newly built; 49 repaired); the number of houses under construction is 223 (199 newly built; 24 repaired). Than Uyen district has implemented 237 houses, of which 146 have been completed (114 newly built; 32 repaired); the number of houses under construction is 91 (81 newly built; 10 repaired). The number of houses not yet implemented is 72 (Tam Duong district: 17 houses; Tan Uyen district: 54 houses; Than Uyen district: 1 house). In addition to the resources allocated by the province, the districts have proactively mobilized local resources worth over 2 billion VND.

During the discussion at the meeting, delegates pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. At the same time, they proposed solutions to speed up the construction progress such as: doing a good job of ideological work for households that have not started construction; supporting labor days; being flexible in supplying construction materials...

Concluding the working session, Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, determination and coordination of Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, mass organizations, armed forces, enterprises, philanthropists and all people of the three districts: Tam Duong, Tan Uyen, Than Uyen who have actively accompanied and participated in the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, he requested that Party committees and authorities of the districts need to be more closely and resolutely, promote the responsibility of the heads of Party committees and authorities in leading the implementation of the program; be responsible to the Standing Committee and the District Steering Committee for the implementation progress of the locality and unit, pay attention to arousing the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and affection, and mobilize the participation of the entire political system in the implementation; Absolutely do not let stagnation, prolongation, affect the overall goal of the program.

Steering Committees at all levels shall strengthen regular and unscheduled inspections and supervision of the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Simultaneously start construction of 72 houses that have not been implemented before May 10, 2025. Closely coordinate with the Provincial Police to resolve difficulties and obstacles for 210 houses implemented by the police in Tam Duong, Tan Uyen and Than Uyen districts.

It is necessary to develop a detailed plan, assign specific tasks to the comrades of the District Party Committee in charge of the commune, and determine the implementation progress for the villages; communes and towns. Timely remove difficulties and obstacles to implement and put into use before June 10, 2025 to ensure the progress according to the direction of the province. Mobilize social resources, organize forces to support working days, supplies and materials, contributing to speeding up the program implementation progress, ensuring effectiveness, practicality and sustainability.
