Vietnam Summer Camp Delegation Visits Kon Tum Prison Historical Site

(QNgTV) - As part of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 activities organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), more than 100 young overseas Vietnamese from 31 countries and territories visited and exchanged in Kon Tum ward, Quang Ngai province.

At the Kon Tum Prison National Historical and Cultural Relic, the delegation offered incense and flowers, and learned about the heroic fighting spirit of revolutionary soldiers, especially the bloody struggle that took place on December 12, 1931 of communist soldiers imprisoned in Kon Tum Prison. The delegation visited and learned about local culture and history at Kon Tum Museum, Kon Tum Wooden Church, and exchanged and presented 80 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students who overcame difficulties to study well.

Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 takes place from July 13 to 26, with the theme of remembering and honoring important historical milestones of the country such as: Celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and towards the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.
