According to information from the University of Transport Technology, two Japanese unions specializing in human resource recruitment have just signed a contract with the school to recruit 300 training positions, aiming to provide human resources for Japanese enterprises.
Specifically, the contracted training majors include: automotive engineering technology, civil and industrial construction engineering technology, road and bridge engineering technology, logistics and multimodal transport, logistics and supply chain management. Of which, the automotive engineering technology major alone has 100 quotas, the remaining majors each have 50 quotas.
According to Mr. Ngo Quoc Trinh, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the University of Transport Technology, these targets are trained at the school's Vinh Phuc campus, with a training program that meets Japanese standards. The candidates for admission are those who have been admitted to the school, and then the company will select them through specific tests and health checks.
When studying the program, in addition to studying the major, students also study Japanese throughout the course to achieve the Japanese level N3 upon graduation. During the study period, students have paid internships in Vietnam and Japan. Domestic internships are once a year, each time for a minimum of 3 months. Internships in Japan are 3 months each time. However, students can register for a technical internship in Japan for 1-3 years, then return to Vietnam to take the exam to get a degree.
After graduation, students have 3 options: working at Japanese enterprises in Vietnam, working as engineers in Japan, or studying for a postgraduate degree in Japan.
“According to the contract, these unions commit to ensuring that 100% of students have jobs in Japan after graduation, if they fully complete the required programs,” Mr. Trinh also said.
