The price of gold rings went down this morning. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of gold type 1-5 at only 116.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.8 million VND/tael (sell), down 200,000 VND/tael each way compared to last weekend.
Phu Quy Group set the price at 116 million VND/tael (buy) - 119 million VND/tael (sell), instead of the previous 116.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.2 million VND/tael (sell).

On the international market, this morning the gold price decreased by more than 10 USD/ounce, down to 3,353.3 USD/ounce, converted to about 17 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
According to Kitco's survey of gold prices this week with the participation of 17 analysts, 94% predicted prices would increase, no one thought prices would decrease, and the rest thought prices would go sideways.
