Ho Chi Minh City businesses want to develop Dong Hoa ward like Thu Thiem

(Dan Tri) - Business leaders assess Dong Hoa ward (HCMC) as a land with favorable conditions; a belt axis of metro lines, with all the conditions to develop into a modern urban area.

On the afternoon of October 10, Dong Hoa ward (HCMC) organized a meeting with businessmen and enterprises to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Vietnamese Businessmen's Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025).

The ceremony was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Hoa Ward Party Committee Le Anh Tuan, Chairman of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee Vo Trong Tai, along with businessmen and leaders of enterprises.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee expressed his respect to the entire business community, entrepreneurs, and business households who have always been close, accompanied, and shared with the local government in all circumstances.

Dong Hoa Ward is excited, proud and honored of the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the ward. According to the ward leaders, the efforts, dynamism and courage of entrepreneurs and enterprises have contributed to creating a new look and new vitality for the socio -economic situation of Dong Hoa Ward today and tomorrow.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Le Nhu Thach, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bcons Group, expressed his pride that his company has many projects in Dong Hoa ward. Mr. Thach affirmed that there is no place with a beautiful location like this locality.

“Dong Hoa Ward has a traffic axis connecting all localities such as National Highway 1, National Highway 1K, the road to Tan Son Nhat Airport and soon Long Thanh Airport.”, Dr. Le Nhu Thach shared.

In addition, Dong Hoa ward also has advantages in terms of terrain, geology, mild climate, cool, livable.

Dr. Le Nhu Thach, on behalf of the business community, sent thanks to local leaders and pledged to contribute to building Dong Hoa ward into a livable urban area.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Vo Van Be, Chairman of Thuan Viet Construction - Trading Company Limited, sees Dong Hoa ward as the intersection of the three old provinces of Binh Duong , Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Be hopes that the government, people and businesses will continue to contribute to the development of Dong Hoa ward.

The Chairman of Thuan Viet Company believes that the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City will have policies and planning orientations to develop Dong Hoa ward into a knowledge-based, modern and high-tech urban area.

“Dong Hoa Ward is located on the belt axis of Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro, soon to be Suoi Tien Metro - new city, with full advantages to develop into a class A office rental area,” said Mr. Vo Van Be.

In addition, the Chairman of Thuan Viet Company hopes that local leaders will have a plan to adjust the planning after the merger, creating conditions for businesses to invest, build and develop Dong Hoa ward like the current Thu Thiem Urban Area.
