On the Quan Lo Phung Hiep canal, the boat teams showcased powerful and rhythmic rowing techniques, providing spectators with many exciting matches.
The race kicked off with a match between the team from Dia Muong Pagoda ( Ca Mau ) and the team from O Chum Pagoda (Can Tho City).
The final match was a dramatic contest between the boat teams from Ngan Dua Pagoda (Ca Mau) and Sro Lon Pagoda (Can Tho City).
Thousands of fans from within and outside Ca Mau province cheered and supported the teams, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the tournament.
Numerous monks and spectators came to cheer on the boat teams.
As a result, the boat team from Sro Lôn Pagoda (Can Tho City) excellently won first prize; the boat team from Ngan Dừa Pagoda (Ca Mau) came in second; and the boat team from Bâng Cro Chap Thmay Pagoda (Can Tho City) ranked third.
The boat team from Sro Lôn Pagoda (Can Tho City) excellently won first prize and took a commemorative photo with the audience.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Long commune, presents the second prize to the Ngan Dua pagoda boat team (Ca Mau).
The Ngo boat race was organized annually on December 22nd by the former Phuoc Long district. This year marks the first time Phuoc Long commune, after the administrative reorganization, has hosted the event.
The competition contributes to honoring and preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the Khmer ethnic people, while promoting the spirit of national unity, arousing pride and a sense of responsibility in building Phuoc Long commune into an increasingly developed area.

Mr. Tran Hoang Duyen (on the left), former Secretary of the Phuoc Long District Party Committee, Bac Lieu province (formerly), presents a symbolic check for 50 million VND donated to the Organizing Committee of the tournament.
The teams received commemorative flags and a financial support of 10 million VND per team from the Organizing Committee.
