Art teams from France, Belgium, Singapore, and Vietnam performed 3D mapping to open the series of activities "Colors of Uncle Ho's City"

The highlight of the opening ceremony was a light show combining modern sound, symphony, choir and international 3D mapping technology on the facade of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters.

The 3D mapping team AC3 Studio (France) brought a modern, artistic visual performance, expressing the beauty and spirit of constant innovation of Ho Chi Minh City in the eyes of international friends. The artists of Dirty Monitor (Belgium) impressed with a projection honoring the traditional values ​​and global connectivity of Ho Chi Minh City, especially highlighting the role of Ho Chi Minh City on the international map. With a duration of 3 minutes, the Hexogon Solutions team (Singapore) captivated with the technique of rotating, transforming architectural blocks and motion effects.

Vietsoftpro Team (Vietnam) performed the theme "Vietnam in me", introducing the beauty of Vietnam's land and people and the country's important historical milestones. The presentation used artistic images of symbols such as: Lac bird, dragon and fairy's descendants; typical declarations: Nam Quoc Son Ha by Ly Thuong Kiet, Binh Ngo Dai Cao by Nguyen Trai; Declaration of Independence by President Ho Chi Minh ...

Ms. Thu Phuong (23 years old, Phu Yen ) commented on the 3D mapping performance of the Vietnamese team: "The lively, heroic sound combined with the colorful images is very beautiful. It feels like the flow of Vietnamese history is encapsulated in a few minutes, making me tear up when watching."

According to the Organizing Committee, 3D mapping light art performances will take place within the framework of the program. On the evening of April 26, the Hexogon Solutions team (Singapore) performed the work "Urban Pulse". On the evening of April 29, the DirtyMonitor team (Belgium) performed the theme "Commercial Heritage and Global Connection". The closing night on April 30 will be the performance of AC3 Studio (France) with the work "Vietnam - France: A Perspective".

Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that the series of activities with the theme "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" in response to the country's important holiday is an opportunity for the City to proudly introduce to domestic and international friends a dynamic, creative, and unique urban area - a place where national spirit and aspirations for the future converge.

The series of activities will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on April 19, 26, 29 and 30 at the following locations: in front of the City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters; Nguyen Hue - Le Loi pedestrian area; Nguyen Hue - Mac Thi Buoi pedestrian area; Nguyen Hue - Ngo Duc Ke pedestrian area; and Bach Dang Wharf Park area.

Many activities will take place such as: drone performance; art fireworks; thematic exhibition; public film screening; contemporary art performance, water sports performance... In particular, the light formation performance by drone technology is expected to set a world record with 10,500 Drone devices.

Mr. Quoc Thai (District 11) said: "On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of reunification, I hope that today's young generation will always remember their roots and the sacrifices of their ancestors to live a better life."
