Vietnam Women's Futsal Team "Training", Preparing for World Cup Qualifiers

To prepare for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship - the 2025 Women's Futsal World Cup qualifiers, taking place in China next May, the Vietnamese women's Futsal team has begun training at District 8 Gymnasium (HCMC).

On the first day of training, the team only had 12/18 players on roll, the remaining 6 players will soon join the team after the 2025 National Women's Cup ends in early April.

The coaching staff focuses on improving the players' physical strength.

During the first 2 weeks of training when the number of players was not enough, the coaching staff had a plan and implemented a suitable training program for the 12 existing players.

At the same time, the coaching team also plans to work online, using video to help the remaining players quickly get back into the rhythm when they return.

In the first training session on the afternoon of March 24, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang had his players do light exercises and tactical moves to help the team regain their ball control.

Over the past year, the team has had many opportunities to compete internationally. According to coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang, through each tournament, the players have made significant progress and achieved certain results.

In this training session, the coaching staff will focus on improving three important factors: physical strength, power and physique - because the opponents at the finals all have better physical condition.

In addition, tactics will also be adjusted to avoid being predicted, while overcoming limitations from the previous qualifying round.

At the upcoming Asian Finals, the Vietnamese women's Futsal team is in Group B with Iran, Hong Kong (China) and the Philippines.

With careful preparation, the whole team is determined to achieve the best results in this important tournament.
