Welcoming the first flight from Hong Kong (China) to Da Nang

DNO - On the afternoon of July 19, the Department of Tourism coordinated with relevant units to welcome the first flight from Hong Kong (China) to Da Nang.

Accordingly, flight HX548, operated by Hong Kong Airlines, landed at Da Nang International Airport, bringing 152 Hong Kong (China) passengers to visit and experience tourism services in Da Nang.

Hong Kong - Da Nang route has been officially put into operation by Hong Kong Airlines with a frequency of 7 flights/week.

As soon as they arrived in Da Nang, passengers were welcomed with a lion dance performance, given souvenirs such as traditional conical hats and other typical gifts of Da Nang tourism.

Hong Kong Airlines' launch of daily round-trip flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang has contributed to increasing the total number of flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang to 21 flights/week.

In addition to this airline, there are two other airlines operating regular flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang: Hong Kong Express with a frequency of 10 flights/week and VietJet Air with a frequency of 4 flights/week.

The participation of Hong Kong Airlines not only contributes to the restoration and development of the international flight network to Da Nang, but also opens up many opportunities to connect Da Nang with other international destinations in the region and around the world.

Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An said that this airline is the third airline to set up flights from Hong Kong (China) to Da Nang. This is a very good sign for Da Nang tourism as it is increasingly attracting more key tourist markets.

Along with welcoming this first flight, the city's tourism industry will have many promotional activities in the Hong Kong market such as participating in fairs, promotional programs and in the near future there will be other promotional activities to expand and restore more flights from the Chinese tourist market.
