Welcome high quality train JQB1 Hanoi - Dong Hoi route

QTO - On the morning of August 11, at Dong Hoi station, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province coordinated with the railway industry to welcome the high-quality train JQB1 on its first journey from Hanoi to Quang Tri. This is a new transport product aimed at improving service quality and diversifying passenger experiences.

Train JQB1 departed from Hanoi station at 8:05 p.m. on August 10 and arrived at Dong Hoi station at 7:00 a.m. on August 11. Train JQB2 from Dong Hoi to Hanoi departed at 3:20 p.m. at Dong Hoi station and arrived at Hanoi station at 4:15 a.m. the next morning. The train consisted of 13 carriages: 6 sleeper carriages, 5 seat carriages, 1 dining carriage and 1 generator carriage.

All are manufactured entirely in Vietnam with advanced technology, meeting high safety and comfort standards. The interior is modernly designed with 360-degree rotating seats, beds with integrated TVs, zone-adjustable air conditioning, wifi connection, vacuum cleaning system, ABS brakes and axle temperature gauges.

On the JQB1 train this morning, there were 180 passengers, most of whom were tourists from Hanoi and the northern provinces. Many tourists said they chose the train not only because of its convenience and safety, but also because the journey took them through beautiful coastal and mountainous routes, including a section considered one of the six most impressive railway routes in the world.

At the reception, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Quang Tri Tourism Promotion Center presented flowers, souvenirs and wished all passengers a safe journey and many interesting experiences.

The operation of the high-quality JQB1/JQB2 trains is expected to open up new opportunities for connecting the capital and Quang Tri, creating favorable conditions for tourists to explore the local heritage and landscapes. This is also an important step towards sustainable tourism development, combining rail transport and typical tourism products of the Central region.
