Central Reporters Conference August 2025

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department attended the conference at the Lam Dong province bridge point.

Comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the conference.

The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats to more than 1,500 points of provincial, municipal, and central party committees with over 55,300 delegates attending.

Lam Dong province bridge with the participation of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; standing representatives of: Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the conference, delegates heard the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs inform on the topic: "Initial results of operating two-level local government; issues and solutions in the coming time".

Accordingly, the two-level local government apparatus initially operated stably and smoothly. Most localities have completed the arrangement of government organizations, ensuring uninterrupted administrative operations.

Public administrative services are maintained continuously, without interruption during the transition process. Accelerate the reduction of administrative procedures, decentralization, and delegation of power along with resource allocation, improve enforcement capacity, and strengthen inspection and supervision.

The work of ensuring political security and social order and safety during and after the administrative unit arrangement process has been maintained. Although the boundaries of many administrative units have changed and expanded, the local situation remains stable and people are highly unanimous.

The direction and management from the central to local levels are smooth and synchronous. The Government, the Prime Minister and central ministries and branches have taken synchronous, proactive and timely action to remove difficulties and obstacles for localities.

Along with that, the delegates listened to the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs inform on the topic: "Recent prominent world and regional situations; impacts and policies of Vietnam".

In the context of the extremely complicated world and regional situation, with the motto of being proactive, positive, creative and flexible in adapting, foreign affairs and diplomacy in recent times have been deployed synchronously, comprehensively and effectively by Vietnam, basically fulfilling the key foreign affairs tasks of 2025.

In particular, successfully implementing four major goals, including: Maintaining a favorable foreign situation, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment; firmly protecting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity; creating external resources and favorable conditions for development, opening up new breakthrough spaces and directions for rapid and sustainable growth; enhancing the country's role, prestige and position in the international arena, contributing responsibly to global governance, politics and human civilization.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commissions of provincial Party Committees, city Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, the Propaganda Commission of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central organizations, reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists to continue to propagate the contents of the official dispatch of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission on the orientation of oral propaganda work in August 2025 and the topics conveyed at the conference.

At the same time, focus on disseminating key contents such as: Promoting propaganda for Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; patriotic emulation congresses at all levels and sectors towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in 2025.

In addition, continue to propagate the Politburo's directives on leading the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.

Along with that, promote propaganda to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country, especially the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Propagating important foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders; on the socio-economic situation, propagating tasks and solutions stated in Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP dated August 5, 2025 of the Government on growth targets of sectors, fields, localities and key tasks and solutions to ensure the country's growth in 2025 reaches 8.3 - 8.5%; initial results of operating two-level local governments, issues and orientations in the coming time.
