Welcoming more than 93,000 tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holiday

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST), during the 5-day holiday (from April 30 to May 4 ), the whole province is estimated to welcome and serve over 93,000 tourists , an increase of 16% over the same period.

Every day, Pac Po National Special Relic Site, Truong Ha Commune (Ha Quang) welcomes thousands of visitors.

During the 5-day holiday, the weather in the province was quite stable, no rain at night, sunny during the day. Tourist attractions in the province attracted a large number of visitors to visit and experience resort services, entertainment and cuisine .

Of which, international tourists are estimated at 4.2 thousand arrivals, domestic tourists are estimated at 88.8 thousand arrivals. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 178.4 billion VND, up 21.4% over the same period, room occupancy rate is estimated at 68.5%. Tourists concentrate on main destinations such as: Pac Bo National Special Relic Site (Ha Quang); Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site (Nguyen Binh); Ban Gioc Waterfall; Nguom Ngao Cave (Trung Khanh); Kim Dong Walking Street (City)... Many green tourism, eco-tourism, and community tourism destinations in localities also attract a large number of visitors to visit, experience, and relax.

At tourist attractions that attract tourists, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes many cultural and artistic activities, folk games imbued with the national identity of the region; organizes film screenings to serve the people; Mobile Film Screening Teams in the highlands organize film screenings to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies to serve ethnic minorities in remote areas; organizes exhibitions of publications, and introduces Cao Bang tourism products.
