Election of additional Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee

On October 10, the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, 2021-2026, held the 36th session (special session) to pass important resolutions on socio-economic development in the province.

Cao Bang provincial leaders congratulated Mr. Vu Dinh Quang on being elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Cao Bang Provincial People's Council has dismissed a number of positions elected by the Provincial People's Council.

Delegates elected Mr. Vu Dinh Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province, to be the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province for the 2021-2026 term, with 37/41 votes in favor (equal to 90.24% of the total number of delegates present). Delegates elected Mr. Be Dang Khoa, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Cao Bang province, to be the member of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province for the 2021-2026 term.

In the Resolution on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes (supplemented in the 5th phase), the Provincial People's Council agreed to convert the use purpose of 4.27 hectares of forest land for the projects of inter-commune traffic road Doc Lap - Quang Hung commune; traffic road Phan Thanh commune, Cao Bang province - Nghien Loan commune, Thai Nguyen province; mineral exploitation project in the Binh Linh mine area, Hanh Phuc commune.

In addition, the People's Council of Cao Bang province passed a resolution on socio-economic development, including: Resolution stipulating policies for people working outside the payroll quota at the Associations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial level according to Resolution No. 07/2025/NQ-CP dated September 17, 2025 of the Government; approving the list of hamlets (villages) with a high concentration of ethnic minorities with special difficulties that are eligible for investment in construction, upgrading, renovation and repair of infrastructure according to the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase I: from 2021 to 2025 in the province.

Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province Be Thanh Tinh said that in order to complete the 8% growth target, contributing to the overall growth target of the whole country, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors need to concentrate highly, make maximum efforts, and successfully implement comprehensively and exceed the targets, goals and political tasks.

In the immediate future, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors will focus all resources with the people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, soon stabilize life, support production, restore essential infrastructure such as traffic, irrigation, schools, medical stations; promote disbursement of public investment capital, especially key projects and projects with a lot of capital allocation...
