Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of December 31, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan inspected and urged the implementation of Phung Khoang Lake Park under the Phung Khoang New Urban Area Project (Nam Tu Liem District).
Reporting on the progress of the project, Project Manager Dao Tu Quy said that since December 14, the construction unit has mobilized maximum manpower, equipment, vehicles, and machinery to work day and night. To date, with 39 renovation and repair items, the unit has completed about 60% of the work compared to the original design.
Mr. Dao Tu Quy added: “The amount of work arising at the project is very large, especially many items after 10 years of construction have now degraded, damaged, need to be renovated, repaired, causing more time than new construction. However, with great effort and determination, after 18 days of construction, the appearance of the park has been changing every day, ensuring a bright and beautiful landscape. Many items such as fences, sidewalks, welcome gates, main gates and side gates of To Huu street; fences surrounding the campus; the square, and internal traffic routes have all been completed.”
Faced with large-scale projects and urgent construction time, the construction unit representative proposed that some projects such as basketball courts, drainage infrastructure connections across Me Tri Street... will be implemented after the Lunar New Year.
Directing at the inspection session, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan requested construction units to continue to focus all their efforts on completing all items synchronously.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan noted that the construction should not involve moving trees, affecting the landscape of the area and the park. In addition, although this is a park in Phung Khoang New Urban Area, it is located on To Huu Street, adjacent to the urban area, so it is necessary to create an open, airy space, without erecting high and hard fences.
The Department of Construction coordinates with the People's Committees of Nam Tu Liem and Thanh Xuan districts to organize management, accompany the construction unit, especially directly direct the adjustment of design documents during the construction completion stage.
