At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced Decision No. 1379-QDNS/TW of the Politburo on assigning comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong said that the Politburo had reached a high consensus on the assignment, transfer and appointment of comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong congratulated comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai on being entrusted with a new task by the Party. Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai is a capable cadre, with basic training, extensive experience in Party building work, especially inspection and audit work, with a scientific and democratic working method, upholding principles, growing from the grassroots and having held many positions at the Central and local levels. In all positions, she always strives to complete the assigned tasks excellently, making important contributions to the overall achievements of the locality, agency and unit.

According to Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong, assigned and entrusted with the new task by the Politburo, this is the recognition and evaluation of the Party, and at the same time a heavy responsibility that the Party has assigned to comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai. Therefore, comrade needs to be truly courageous, determined, strive to practice, closely follow the grassroots, quickly grasp the situation, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, unite, highly unify, focus on leadership, direction, focus on successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Hanoi Party Congress.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the new Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee expressed his honor to receive the decision of the Politburo on the assignment, appointment and appointment to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term from the Standing Member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai respectfully thanks the Politburo, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other Party and State leaders for their attention and trust in entrusting me with the great responsibility of being the head of the Hanoi Party Committee.

The new Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Bui Thi Minh Hoai, said that in order to continue to inherit and promote the achievements of the City and the 94-year tradition of the Capital Party Committee, in her new position, she promised to make every effort, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, uphold principles, and together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system of the Capital, maintain the tradition of solidarity and unity, seize opportunities, promote collective intelligence, courage, creativity, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, and successfully organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee, contributing to the determination of the whole country to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Party.

To complete these tasks, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, directly and regularly from the Politburo, the Secretariat, especially from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other Party and State leaders; veteran comrades, former leaders; the coordination of Central committees, ministries, branches, and local Party committees and authorities for the City Party Committee, government and for me personally.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai hopes that the City Party Executive Committee, agencies, units, and all cadres, party members, and people of the Capital will support and coordinate to help her successfully fulfill the task of leading the Party Committee, government, army, and people of the Capital to build the Capital to become increasingly rich, civilized, and modern as the goal set by the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee.
