DTO - On the morning of October 19, at the Dong Thap Labor Union Cultural House, the 11th Dong Thap Provincial Labor Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028, continued its third working session and closed. Comrade Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee, and former leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation attended the Congress.

Delegates vote to elect the Provincial Trade Union Delegation to attend the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union

At the 3rd working session, the Congress approved the report on the results of the 1st Conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL), term XI, term 2023 - 2028. The Conference unanimously elected the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, consisting of 10 comrades; elected the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, consisting of 9 comrades; Comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui was elected as President of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023 - 2028 term; Comrade Huynh Thi Thu Thuy was re-elected as Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term 2023 - 2028. Delegates attending the Congress elected the Provincial Federation of Labor Delegation to attend the 13th Congress of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, consisting of 10 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

Delegates voted to agree on the Resolution of the 11th Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028

Delegates voted to pass the Resolution of the 11th Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028; accordingly, in the term 2023 - 2028, focus on implementing 19 targets and 3 breakthroughs: focusing on representing, protecting, and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; promoting the establishment of trade union organizations; building a team of grassroots trade union chairmen to meet the requirements of the task; introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission; promoting the implementation of digital transformation in union member and trade union finance management.

Comrade Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (6th from left) presented Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives with outstanding achievements in Trade Union activities from 2018 - 2023.

On this occasion, 10 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities from 2018 - 2023 were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; The Provincial Labor Federation Executive Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to welcome the Trade Union Congresses at all levels towards the Vietnam Trade Union Congress.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023 - 2028 term.

In her closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term XI, 2023 - 2028, emphasized that after 2 days of working with a spirit of urgency, positivity, democracy, and high responsibility, the 11th Congress of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, term 2023 - 2028, has completed all the contents and programs set out and achieved great success. The success of the Congress is the driving force and strength for the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term XI, to continue to strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges; to soon put the Congress Resolution into practice, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio -economic development of the province, building a strong and comprehensively developed workforce and provincial Trade Union organization.
