Comrade Liu Jianchao, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and the delegation visited the exhibition system of the National Museum of History.

At the reception, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan happily welcomed Comrade Luu Kien Sieu and the members of the delegation to visit the Museum for the first time. Visiting the exhibition system, Mr. Luu Kien Sieu was introduced to the typical collections of artifacts, reflecting the historical and cultural progress of Vietnam. Typical are a number of national treasures of Dong Son culture - a brilliantly developed material civilization, reflecting the technical level, aesthetic thinking and rich religious life of ancient Vietnamese residents such as: Ngoc Lu bronze drum, Hoang Ha bronze drum, Dao Thinh bronze jar, Viet Khe boat tomb... Along with that is the collection of artifacts of Vietnamese feudal dynasties such as Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen, vividly demonstrating the process of building and defending the country, as well as the achievements in Vietnamese culture and art throughout history.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan, Deputy Director of the National Museum of History, presented a souvenir to comrade Luu Kien Sieu.

At the end of the tour and exchange with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan, Comrade Luu Kien Sieu said he was very impressed with the collections on display, including many unique artifacts showing that Vietnamese people are very hard-working, creative and resilient to develop the country. Having directly viewed the artifacts, he realized that Vietnam and China are two countries with cultural similarities, which is the basis for cultural exchange and cooperation programs between the two countries. In response, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan said that the Museum has been and is having cooperation programs with a number of Chinese cultural agencies in the fields of research, archaeological excavation, publishing, exhibition and human resource training. She hopes that with mutual understanding and cultural similarities, it will be an important foundation for the National Museum of History to continue to have more effective cultural cooperation programs with units in China in the future.
