(BGDT) - On the afternoon of January 10, Mr. Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and extended New Year greetings to a number of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the province. Accompanying him were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board.
Comrade Mai Son and the delegation visited, encouraged and wished a happy new year to 5 typical FDI enterprises in Viet Yen town, including: Fuhong Precision Component Co., Ltd. ( Bac Giang ), Vietnam Sunergy Joint Stock Company (same as Dinh Tram Industrial Park); Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), SamKwang Vina Co., Ltd. and Nichirin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (same as Quang Chau Industrial Park).

These are enterprises operating in the fields of manufacturing and processing electronic components, solar panels, mechanical processing, metal processing and coating, spare parts and accessories for motor vehicles and vehicle engines, etc. These 5 enterprises currently have a total of more than 45,000 workers.
In 2024, despite the impact of the global economic recession, these enterprises still achieved a production value of more than 20 billion USD; created jobs and stable income for tens of thousands of workers, contributing positively to the overall growth of Bac Giang province. The regimes and policies of cadres, workers and employees are all concerned, guaranteed and improved.

After listening to business representatives report on the results of production and business activities last year, comrade Mai Son congratulated the businesses for successfully completing their tasks and plans in 2024.
At the same time, provide quick information on the province's socio-economic development results in 2024 with some outstanding achievements such as: Bac Giang's economic growth rate (GRDP) maintains its leading position in the country, estimated at 13.85%. The scale of the GRDP economy is constantly expanding, estimated at 207 trillion VND for the whole year, continuing to maintain the 12th position in the country, leading the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.
Building the Bac Giang provincial government to be increasingly modern, effective, and efficient, based on digital transformation, aiming at the satisfaction of the people and businesses is the goal and destination. The PCI index ranks 4th in the country; the index of directing, operating and serving the people and businesses ranks 3rd in the country; the administrative reform index ranks 4th in the country; the index of building and developing e-government and digital government leads the country.

Comrade Mai Son suggested that enterprises always keep in touch with the province. If there are any difficulties or problems during the operation, they should immediately report to the Industrial Park Management Board and the provincial authorities, and the provincial People's Committee for timely resolution.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that enterprises will actively connect and expand investment in Bac Giang province, contributing more to the socio-economic development of the province, because the locality is continuing to expand and establish many other new industrial parks.
