Energizing the project to increase the capacity of transformer T2, Son Duong 110kV transformer station

The Council accepted the energization and put into operation the project to increase the capacity of transformer T2 from 25MVA to 40 MVA at the 110kV Son Duong transformer station.

The project to increase the capacity of transformer T2, 110kV Son Duong transformer station from 25MVA to 40MVA has a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND. At the energization session, the Acceptance Council confirmed that the construction items of the project met the technical and quality requirements and fully ensured the conditions for energization and operation.

Putting into operation the T2 transformer to 40MVA at the 110kV Son Duong station will contribute to meeting the demand for load growth, preventing overload for the 110kV Son Duong transformer station; strengthening grid connectivity, ensuring 22kV power supply to the Son Duong district grid, in accordance with the Power Development Plan of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2016 - 2025 with a vision to 2035. Thereby, improving the stability and reliability of power supply to serve people and businesses operating in production and business in Son Duong district in particular and Tuyen Quang province in general.
