AI demand is high, Samsung increases RAM for Galaxy S25 series
According to leaker Jukanlosreve, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra will retain their starting prices of $799, $999, and $1,299, respectively. This means users will get to experience more RAM without having to pay extra.
The increase in RAM is said to be to meet the growing demand for AI features on the device. Samsung is focusing on developing Galaxy AI and the RAM upgrade will significantly improve the performance of these features.
Previously, Google also applied a similar strategy with the Pixel 9, which has 12GB of RAM, while the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL are equipped with 16GB of RAM to optimize AI performance.
