Ho Chi Minh City has been facing major challenges in recent times, from urbanization pressure, environmental pollution, growth decline... to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. To overcome these challenges, authorities at all levels from the city to the local level have coordinated smoothly and quickly implemented policies to support people and businesses.

The cooperation is also demonstrated through the fact that departments and authorities at all levels in the city work together to develop short-term plans such as supporting employment, preventing crime, promoting public investment disbursement, etc., in conjunction with long-term plans such as digital transformation, developing a green economy or administrative reform, etc. All of these plans not only improve the quality of life of the people but also open up opportunities for economic development, attract foreign investment, and bring Ho Chi Minh City closer to the goal of becoming a regional economic and financial center.

Many of the city's development policies and strategies directly serve all classes of people, in which the vulnerable are always given special attention. At the same time, promoting the motto "using the people's strength to care for the people", with a dynamic, creative and affectionate spirit, the city's people are always ready to join hands with the government to overcome difficulties. In these hot days, we must feel relieved when seeing free iced tea boxes, warm with free rice distribution points at hospitals, or volunteer groups organizing rice cooking for the poor; touched by donations to help the seriously ill poor, support poor students to go to school...

Moreover, Ho Chi Minh City residents also actively participate in community building movements, such as "smart city", "green - clean - beautiful neighborhood", "neighborhood against crime and social evils"... Many people not only comply with policies but also proactively propose creative ideas, contributing to improving the living environment. The companionship of the people is truly a great source of motivation for the government and organizations to constantly innovate and improve.

In particular, after the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, patriotism, national spirit, community awareness, consensus, etc. continued to be clearly demonstrated and enhanced more than ever. That is an extremely important premise for the city to continue to develop strongly in the coming time. The city has had and is having great spiritual strength, which can be a solid foundation to realize, concretize into specific strength and actions, in many activities, in many fields, including joining hands to build and develop the city as well as constantly improve the lives of the people.

In the new context, Ho Chi Minh City needs to continue to promote the spirit of companionship to go further. Cooperation between the government, organizations and people needs to be promoted through open and transparent dialogue channels. Forums and conferences to listen to the opinions of people and businesses are organized more frequently to grasp practical needs, thereby building appropriate policies.

In addition, the city needs to make the most of resources from the overseas Vietnamese community. Or cooperation with international partners in areas such as technology,education , health, etc. will help the city access new advances and improve competitiveness. At the same time, the companionship of businesses in job creation and technology transfer will be the driving force for Ho Chi Minh City to develop.

The results of 50 years of building and developing Ho Chi Minh City have proven that the city is ready and determined to enter a new stage of development. And, the city also focuses on and always promotes the consensus and cohesion of the political system, the business community and all the people of the city, thereby creating a combined strength to make Ho Chi Minh City continue to become a symbol of creativity and success, a place that not only has a good quality of life but is also a symbol of sustainable development.
