(DN) - The Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1663/QD-UBND dated May 21, 2025 to establish a Working Group to direct, supervise, and urge the work of the peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province (referred to as the Working Group).

According to this decision, the Working Group consists of 18 individuals. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc is the Head of the Working Group. Mr. Duong Minh Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the permanent Deputy Head of the Working Group. The Deputy Heads include: Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Provincial Police; Mr. Pham Van Cuong, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Lam, Deputy Director of the Department of Health .

The members of the Working Group include leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Department of Science and Technology; Department of Construction; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Industry Economics and Foreign Affairs (Department of Finance); Tax Department of Region XV; Customs Department of Region XVIII; Market Management Department; Dong Nai Newspaper; Dong Nai Radio and Television Station.

The working group is responsible for directing, managing, supervising, and urging the work of the peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province.

At the same time, direct coordination between agencies and functional forces in detecting, combating, preventing, and strictly handling acts of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement that are complicated, serious, and organized. Implement a regime of quick reporting on the results of detection, arrest, and handling of serious and complicated cases and incidents, and report on the summary of peak implementation.

The Head of the Working Group is responsible for directing and managing the activities of the Working Group. The members of the Working Group perform tasks as assigned by the Head and perform according to the functions, tasks and powers within the field of management of the agency or unit in the work of preventing, combating and handling smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights.
