Prohibit vehicles with a load capacity of 8 tons or more from circulating through the intersection of Co Cay Xoai and DT.767 from May 27.

According to the announcement, from May 27, 2025, vehicles with a load capacity of 8 tons or more will be banned from traveling on Co Cay Xoai Street, from about Km 9+600 to Km 9+700 (about 100m on Co Cay Xoai Street, at the intersection with DT.767 Road). The traffic ban will last from 7:00 a.m. on May 27, 2025 until the repair is completed (expected until June 27, 2025).

Regarding the alternative traffic route during the repair period, vehicles will travel from DT.768 road to Vinh An town area to enter DT.767 road and vice versa.

According to the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district, the traffic ban is to serve the repair of the intersection between DT.767 road and Co Cay Xoai road and some locally damaged locations on Co Cay Xoai road. Co Cay Xoai road is more than 9km long, connecting 2 routes: 767 (Vinh Tan commune) and 768 (Tan An commune).

Vinh Cuu is a locality without a national highway passing through, the district is mainly connected via provincial roads DT.762, DT.767, DT.768 and key district roads such as Co Cay Xoai road, Vinh Tan - Cay Diep road.

In recent years, the volume of freight transport in the Binh Duong province area connecting through Thu Bien bridge has increased rapidly. Along with that, Vinh Cuu has many quarries providing construction materials for key national projects and works in the province and the southern region, therefore, the volume of heavy-duty vehicles has increased rapidly, causing deterioration and damage to occur more quickly, potentially causing traffic safety risks if repair measures are not promptly implemented, including the intersection between Co Cay Xoai Street and DT.767 Street.

From practical needs, the district always pays attention to and promptly implements the maintenance and repair of the traffic infrastructure system to ensure traffic safety, meeting the travel and freight transport needs of people and businesses inside and outside the district.
