Located in the central area of the World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay, about 12 km from Tuan Chau tourist port, the island was named by Uncle Ho after the Russian astronaut German Titov, on the occasion of his visit to Ha Long Bay and stopping at this island in 1962.
